My Story So Far...
Formed from a salty Cornish lifestyle. Olive May created in 2016 is a collection of unique and minimal jewellery inspired by the beauty of the Cornish coast. I had a lot of time on my hands after having a life changing accident and started designing necklaces. This is when Olive May was founded. My whole life I have lived 5 minutes from the beach and have always loved the ocean. Olive May has given me the freedom and creativity that I lost. The idea of someone wearing my necklaces around their neck, carrying a bit of the ocean and being handmade here in Cornwall is exciting.
Handmade with natural crystal quartz, semi-precious stones, Cornish & English vintage sea glass and natural shells evoking the painters palette you see on the coast of Cornwall. Each necklace draws upon memories and tales of the ocean that embody a sense of curiosity.
Olive May symbolises dreams, hope, feelings and the free spirit of the sea.
